Just casual hotel. Food is just okay. No filter coffee. No coffee tea makers available in room. Seems to be very old property. Centrally located. Not good for value for money. Just for 1 day stay okay. Not good for family or long stay . Staff okay.

Recently went there for lunch. Worst service in the world. No one will welcome you. They wont attend the table. Gone form there without having lunch , even for that they not cared about. What kind of hotel they are running. Worst in The world. Don't go there and waste your time and money.

We came here into this hotel as a part of our Velankanni pilgrim visit. We came as group of 9 people and in my family Myself my wife and 2 kids aged 5 years and 2 years. We were bit delay to the hotel about 11pm and our transportation bus couldn’t arrive to the reception due to their name board is fixed below the height of the bus. Then we get off from the road, my both kids were sleeping I happened to carry my luggage and kids too without any support from hotel. Room was very small, bathroom is very compacted. No WiFi. Finally got a wifi password but range is not in the room. So the night was too bad. In the morning I went to the restaurant, buffet for Milk for my kids. They refused to give milk and asked to come for the meals. I said my kids are usually drink the bed milk, but their reply was to buy through room service. I was embarrassed.

We traveled to Chennai in 2014 and stayed in Hotel Chandrika park it is the worst hotel that I have ever experienced in my life .the hotel reception staff and managers are pathetic. There are some points I would to mention. (1)-our room number is 2000 which is the most isolated room in this hotel and all the time there is a noise of hammers and drilling machine from the room just above our room.the noise was so loud that I can't even hear the noise of phone,its like someone is making a hole in your head.I called the reception 4 times to stop this noise every time they told me work is going on and we will stop it but nothing stopped. ( 2)but that was a start after that we told manager in reception to change our room.he told us that 5 minutes he will change it,so we went in our room and waited for 3 hours nobody came. (3)- after 5 hours we again reached reception manager and told the same situation then again he promised us to change the room at 9 o clock by making a statement that some Customer is leaving at 9 and we will shift you in that room. (4)- but same story repeated again nobody came we called the reception nobody picked the phone 5)we ordered hot water for drinking 4 times , as my father was having a problem in throat but nobody came and then when we ordered tea they gave it 5 minutes as one tea cost 50 Rs. 6)- not only that when we checked out of the hotel these managers were using false language for us in Tamil or whatever it is we could see from expressions.. From that day i almost hate anyone whom i see talking in their own language specially South.Either you should have gut to say it on face or stick it in your own brain.
